Terms of Reference for
Ethiopia Country Context analysis as part of the
2021-2025 Strategic Plan Development of Vita
Vita is an Irish based International Development Charity organization founded in Ireland in 1989 under the original name of Refuge Trust International and has been legally registered in Ethiopia in 2005. Since its establishment, Vita became operational in Ethiopia and began implementing its projects in the Southern Nation Nationalities and People Regional State (SNNPR), specifically in Gamo Gofa, South Omo zone, and later expanded to Segen Area Peoples zone; and Amhara National Regional State (ANRS) in South Gonder zone.
In light of deepening and sustaining its commitment to the poor, fulfilling various levels accountability, and responding to the demanding dynamic program environment, Vita is being preparing for technical review of the existing strategic plan and develop the new one that will cover the year 2021-2025.
Hence, aiming to critically understand the changing environment and the related possible impacts on Vita’s strategy 2021-2025, Vita would like to conduct the country context analysis using a knowledgeable and well experienced consultant who is required to fulfil the following minimum requirements:
- A recognized university degree in Agriculture,Agricultural Economics, Rural development Development Economics, or in related fields of studies (at a minimum of Masters Level).
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience in Strategic Planning, designing, management of related desk review exercise and qualitative studies,
- Fluency in English spoken and writing;
- Proficiency in data review process, context analysis and other methods processing
