THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF BENISHANGUL –GUMUZ BENISHANGUL-GUMUZ WATER, IRRIGATION, AND ENERGY RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT BUREAU PROGRAM/PROJECT: ONE WaSH NATIONAL PROGRAM  CONSOLIDATED WaSH ACCOUNT PHASE TWO/OWNPCWA PHASE TWO/OWNP-CWA PHASE TWO/One WaSH Program (P167794-ET)

TITLE: DOBI SMALL TOWN PIPED SYSTEM WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION PROJECT  

  1. The Government of Ethiopia has received a fund towards the cost of Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Projects proceeds of this portion to payments under the contract for Civil Works Construction, Supply and Installation of Pipes & Fittings, and Supply and Installation of Electro-Mechanical Equipment for Dobi Small Town Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Project that includes spring development and pumping station, transmission pipelines, service reservoirs, distribution network, auxiliary buildings, and other ancillary works and electromechanical works.
  2. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional Government Water, Irrigation and Energy Resources Development Bureau now invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for supply and execution of the works as described here below.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB), a procedure-specific in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Bidding Documents.

 

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Benishangul- Gumuz Region Water, Irrigation and Energy Resources  Development Bureau, Telephone +251-57-775-0981 +251-57-7752294/0911341994.

 

5. Qualification requirements include:

 

For the bidders.

 

*Bidders should have the experience on civil construction works and supply and installation of at least three similar natures and size of works in the last five years, supported with names of clients, type and value of contracts.

 

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased directly from The Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy or The Benishangul-Gumuz Region Bureau of Water, Irrigation and Energy Resources Development, Building No.: Meeting Hall and Regional One WaSHProgram Management Unit /PMU/by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500.00/Five Hundred Birr/ in cash or cheque against receipt.

 

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before Dec 24, 2020 at 3:00P.M. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

 

8. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on Dec 24, 2020 at 3:30 P.M. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security of (CPO) or Bank Guarantee 600,000.00 in Ethiopian Birr or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. For Bank Guarantee the bidders must use the bank guarantee form included in section IV (Bid Forms) of this bidding document.

 

9. Bids shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after Bid submission  date.

 

10. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bid.
