The collaboration aims to improve the livelihood of youth and women working and seeking to work at the manufacturing firms, by creating economic Impact of creating more than 2,000 job and income opportunities in the medium and large manufacturing firms.

Objective

As coaching is both a science and an art, the planned training not only focuses on doing’ coaching but also on being’ coaching. In other words, coaching is not only about learning and practicing skills moreover, which includes listening, questioning, structuring a conversation, etc.

This coaching training will be delivered by private, Addis Ababa based coaching specialists and will build consultants’ skills to negotiate and transfer their knowledge to firm employees.

By providing this coaching training for the Kaizen basic level certified consultants, Li-WAY will ensure that consultants continue to support the manufacturing sector firms that implemented kaizen in the pilot intervention, which will help to sustain changes and progress achieved during the pilot intervention. As a result of this, consultants will have a capacity and skill of coaching their trainees to adopt the implementation mechanism and sustain the concept.
