SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is the largest non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational charitable child welfare organization in the world. SOS-Kinderdorf International was founded by Hermann Gmeiner in 1949 in Imst, Austria to help children in need; children who have lost their homes, their security, and their families as a result of the Second World War.

SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is a member of SOS-Kinderdorf International, the largest child welfare organization. Currently, SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is running SOS Children’s Villages Programme in Mekelle, Addis Ababa, Harar, Mekelle, Hawassa, Bahir Dar, Gode, and Jimma.

SOS Children’s Villages Addis Ababa Program location recently launched a project that aims at creating improved training and employment prospect for 8683 (60% Female) disadvantaged young people. The project is going to be implemented in selected woredas of Akaki kality and Nifafs Silk Lafto Sub Cities.

One of the objectives, being the promotion of sustainable youth employability through the promotion of internship to graduates in collaboration with private companies, civil society, and public actors. In that regard, the project has planned to develop an internship guideline that helps enhance the quality of the approach, and to insure internship remains a win-win approach.

Therefore our program location invites competent and reliable consultants to develop an internship guideline.
