BASELINE STUDY TO ASSESS THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS AND USE OF CITIZEN-GENERATED DATA IN ETHIOPIA
International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IRR) Ethiopia is implementing a pilot project entitled, “Collection, Analysis and Use of Citizen-Generated Data for Reporting of the SDGS-5 and gender specific indicators in other SDGs” in Addis Ababa and Amhara region since December 2020 with funding from UN Women.
To assess the level of awareness and use of CGD, and identify data gaps with regards to accelerating, monitoring, reporting and accountability for gender related targets and indicators, IIRR is looking for experienced and competent individual consultants to undertake a baseline study.
The baseline study is expected to take 30 days tentatively starting from February 05, 2021.
- MA/MSc and above university degree(s) in relevant fields including gender studies, sociology, social work, social psychology, development studies, economics or related social sciences with five years of relevant experience
- Legal documents including renewed business license and TIN
- Proven experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research, and specifically conducting baseline studies and final evaluations in the areas of Citizen Generated Data or Gender as it relates to the SDGS
- At least 2 similar assignments conducted and delivered in the last three years,
