Feed the Future Ethiopia: Livelihoods for Resilience Activity (L4R) is a five-years USAID funded project implemented in three regions – Amhara, SNNPR. Sidama and Tigray – by a consortium of five development partners led by CARE-Ethiopia -ORDA, ASE, REST and SNV.

CARE Ethiopia through its L4R project would like to invite bidders to supply 17 different types of bulk materials for pullet (poultry) growers, including transportation to 53 sites located in Tigray, Amhara, SNNPR and Sidama of the respective distribution centers. The bulk material includes feeder for starter and grower chicks, drinker, weighing balances (chick and feed), brooder, disinfectant chemical, knap sprayer, room thermometer/hydrometer, pox needle / lancet, eye dropper, hen transporting Mcoop, debeaker, postmortem kits, ice box and small refrigerators. The vendors should provide at Least 80% of the materials.

All bids shall be accompanied by a valid/ renewed license for the year 2012/2013 E.C.TIN certificate and VAT registration certificate and other relevant documents. CARE Ethiopia will consider value for money on evaluating the bid.

All sealed proposals clearly marked as “Material Purchase for Pullet Growers for the Livelihoods for Resilience Activity (L4R)”. and Bidders must submit in person, into the box prepared for the bid at CARE Ethiopia, Front desk, Addis Ababa, around 22 Mazoria, behind Lex Plaza building, next to Ha’Geez Cultural Restaurant, not later than 15 days from the date of the announcement.

CARE Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject part and/ or all of the bids.
